Reviews:

* The 2014 Fiat 500L is an all-new car, and marks the second major model in Fiat's U.S. lineup. Compared to the Fiat 500 (aka the Cinquecento), the 500L has 42 percent more interior space. Source: KBB.com
* Big-car passenger and cargo space; good outward visibility; lots of European personality inside and out. Source: Edmunds
* With the introduction of the 2014 500L, Fiat has given fans of their unique urban cars a larger option to enjoy. With four passenger doors, this vehicle can seat five in style. Plus, with its large liftgate in back, and split folding rear seats, all models have been built with room for your cargo if you need it. It is offered in four models: Pop, Easy, Trekking and Lounge. Each model comes with a 1.4-liter, 4-cylinder, Turbo Engine with 160 horsepower. Despite being peppy, all trims get an impressive EPA estimated 25 MPG City and 33 MPG Highway, with the exception of the Lounge which comes close with 24 MPG City and 33 MPG Highway. Once inside, you'll notice the striking modern interior and surprisingly spacious head and legroom. For technology enthusiasts, all models come standard with Uconnect 5.0. It uses Bluetooth for making hands-free calls when connected to a compatible mobile phone, and lets you use Voice Commands for radio functions. It also includes a 5-inch touchscreen, AM FM radio, audio jack, USB port, and you can insert an SD Card for your Music. On top of that, you also get the convenience of audio controls located on the steering wheel. Fiat has considered passenger safety as well. All models come standard with 4-Wheel Anti-Lock Brakes, Stability Control, seven Airbags, Hill Start Assist, and LATCH anchors for your after-market child seats. In addition, if you forget to check your tire pressure, the 500L takes care of that for you. An overhead display will inform you about low pressure on any of your four tires. For added peace of mind it comes with a security alarm as well. Come drive the 2014 Fiat 500L today! Source: The Manufacturer Summary

  • The MOST Underrated Car in America

By Objective Observer on Saturday, July 29, 2017

    5.0
This car has seen it all. Upstate New York snowstorms and -25F nights, downpours, salty roads, heavy NYC/Long Island traffic. While always kept in a garage when in the city (NYC), not so upstate - open to all the elements. True warrior. Two years and 26000 miles later - no change. Being inside this car is like being in a all glass penthouse. The turbo engine !!! - Fast, responsive; For two full years of four distinct seasons and almost 24/7 usage I get a combined MPG of 27, 28. What astonishes me is how many negative reviews are out there by official auto reviewers and how many are the positive reviews by owners. Design, Function, Fuel economy and just plenty of joy - Beautiful car! Only today, I had to fold the back seats for I was getting three 5-6 ft trees from a nursery. Just like in IKEA - all fits in it! The dashboard - easy, elegant, practical. AC or heat come in quickly. Even in the long subzero upstate NY temps, this champ always starts. Steering is extremely responsive. Plenty of warning if anything needs attention. I had a battery light come up. Ignored it for 300 miles - when I did make it to the service - fallen serpentine belt because of a wobbly small part. The car drove those 300 miles only on battery alone !! I have the sunroof - its like a spectacle when I am inside. Recently, I had to stop and wait for a friend in a, naturally, No Standing zone by Madison Square Garden in Manhattan. The car was a show-stopper - even full two years after I have had it. People deserve better, and more importantly, do not pay attention to those professional reviewers who are eager to criticize even the sky for being too blue.
  • After 3 yrs, nearly 100K miles...Great car!

Wonderful visibility with lots of head room, easy to put three people in the back. Useful utility transporting space with fold-down seat. Easy to maneuver and park on city streets. I will hold on to this one for a while, which I dont usually do.
  • Best car for a crowded urban environment

By Nonno on Tuesday, February 17, 2015

This car has been extremely reliable and has features that are superior to its competition. It has an excellent a/c, heating, and defrosting system. It's suspension copes with our terrible roads far better than our past Mazda or Elantra. The view outside is awesome, critical in this city. The car and the suspension feel more robust than those two. Very quiet on the highway. The dual clutch is fine in full auto but is a hoot to drive in sequential shift where you can keep the turbo up to speed. Extremely versatile and useful. Unbelievably maneuverable and easy to park in NYC.
